our sensational staff!!

So, who's going to be looking after your camper? Good question. And have we got a great answer!

At Louise and Airy we take a great deal of pride in not only the ratio of supervision (which exceeds ratios set by the American Camp Association and State of Maryland's Youth Camp Safety Act), but also the quality!

Camp Staff

Staff consists of college students and education professionals recruited from all over the United States as well as internationally. Each staff member is carefully selected based on skills, prior experiences and motivation for working with children. Each staff member is interviewed, has references checked and is given a thorough background check as prescribed by the Maryland Family Article Law. Extensive, ongoing training encourages the enthusiasm, creativity and caring so important to campers and expected by parents, in the true tradition of Airy and Louise staffs.

Parent Testimonial

Two cabin counselors live in your camper's cabin, easily accessible to assure supervision and comfort day or night.

If you know of any qualified and motivated college students (the type you'd like to see taking care of your camper!) please have them contact the camp office. (We're also eager to find accomplished piano accompanists for both Airy and Louise). We have a limited number of "Barter" positions for parents that may be interested in working at camp for a minimum of two weeks (one week minimum for RNs or MDs.)

Should you have any questions during the winter months, call the Baltimore office at 410-466-9010 and talk to Mike Schneider, Bobbie Miller or Steve Goldklang.
