The Associated Offers Financial Support for Jewish Overnight Campers

THE ASSOCIATED is partnering with the Foundation for Jewish Camping to support first-time Jewish overnight campers from the Baltimore area. 100 incentive grants of $1,000 each are being offered for the Summer of '08 and Airy & Louise campers are eligible. Please review the following criteria before applying.

The criteria for the Baltimore Jewish Overnight Campership Program include:

  • Only first-time Jewish overnight campers may apply
  • Campers must be between the ages of 8 and 16 as of June 1st
  • Campers must stay a minimum of four week session at Airy or Louise
  • Multiple campers from a single family are eligible to receive separate grants
  • First-time campers who have already registered for a 4-week session at Airy or Louise for 2008 are still eligible for this grant
  • First-time campers who have already registered for a 2-week session at Airy or Louise for 2008 may apply provided you change to a 4-week session (space permitting)
  • High School students who are paid to work at camp are NOT eligible.
  • Children who have previously attended a Jewish overnight camp for less than 3 weeks are NOT eligible for this grant
