#1: New for Summer 2021, the Thurmont Toe Tappers are bringing their dance show to Village Row. Sure, they are in a conga line position now, but don’t blink! Before you know it they will be cutting a rug to the “Cha Cha Slide” and “The Hokey Pokey.” And coming up this Shabbat, the TTT will lead Israeli dancing for the whole camp. It’s not Shabbat without “Ba Kalil” and some TTT pizazz!

#2: It’s a 1980’s Throwback Day here at Camp Airy, and the boys are paying tribute to the legendary arcade game Centipede. The troupe hopes in the coming days to also strike a pose in celebration of Donkey Kong, Galaga and Pac Man.

#3: These boys are having a summer to remember! They have become friends-roommates-brothers in a short amount of time. This is the power of camp. This is what happens when we provide a place for our boys and young men to connect, interact, share, learn and just play under the guidance of fabulous staff role models. The four-week journey is filled with Maui Mondays and Tie Dye Tuesdays and Chicken Palooza Wednesdays and Jersey Thursdays and then the Shabbat Experience and then Sunday (which needs a theme or schtick, by the way … we’re open to suggestions).

Time flies when we’re having fun.
