CLUBHOUSE GAMES 2018!!!

WOW!

What an amazing way to end the first short session of camp! We packed so much into these two weeks, it is crazy to even think about.

Last night, after the July 4^th DooDah Parade, campers were asked to watch the screens for a patriotic video and all of a sudden it flashed Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and there we have Color Games 2018!

Clubhouse Games were underway. Teams and captains were announced and the mystery was revealed. Minnie has been taken from the Clubhouse! The teams spent all day trying to find her…

Red – Mickey

Yellow – Pluto

Green – Goofy

Blue – Donald

This morning, we had a Clubhouse Glove Breakfast where everyone wore white socks on their hands – think Mickey gloves.

We then competed on the field doing activities, such as Pluto’s Go Fetch Water Balloon Race, Waddling Together – Donald’s 3 Legged Race, Use Your Mouseketools in the Goofy Games Relay, Mickey’s Glove Hand Ball, and of course ending with a massive Tug of War.

We headed to the pool for Mickey Ears’ Relay, Clubhouse Clean-Up, Pluto’s Pool Pinata Punch, Goofy Hair Contest, and Donald Duck’s Floating Contest.

Lunch is one of my personal favorites – silent lunch! It’s a beautiful thing.

The afternoon was filled with Bucket Brigade, more team meetings, Counselor Hunt and Closing Ceremonies where the teams presented banners, skits and songs. It is always a good time!

And of course the moment they have been waiting for….After a great day of fun, competition and sportsmanship, the winner was announced Blue – Donald!

It was quite a loud, spirited, crazy amazing day! What a way to end the first short session.

We will all sleep well tonight!
