Director’s Blog – July 18, 2025
It feels like just yesterday (but was really 4 weeks ago) that we were welcoming in 461 campers on Opening Day!
The CITs sang We Welcome You to Camp Louise…we had our surprise breakout for Pop Stars Game…we had AirLou Afternoon where we got to see our Airy counterparts…we drank Gatorade on hot days…we had quality time with our bunkmates during storm procedures… we watched the 2025 CITs raise the flag on July 4th…we reflected on camp each week during the d’var Torah…we debuted the Alicia jibbit (which I am pretty sure doesn’t really look like me, but A+ for effort, Scott!)…we folkdanced in the gym…we sang Shigaon with the Shlichim…we ate frozen candy at canteen…we played Disco Bingo while Adriel roller skated around the Dining Hall in her silver glitter jumpsuit…we had 108 families register for Camper-In-Training Day…we got muddy during Outdoors Night…we cheered on our friends during performances of Descendants, Folkdance Festival and Dance Concert… we ate Rocky’s pizza on Cab Night…we cried on Pick-Up Day as we said goodbye to our friends and counselors.
And we truly made the most of every moment being here in this incredible place with these amazing people where we experience pure joy.
