In this episode of the podcast we share the first part of a conversation with Marty Rochlin, Director of Camp Airy.

Marty reflects on some of his own personal background as a camper, counselor, camper parent and educator and even reminisces about when he had “curly hair” as a child. He goes on to convey some of his thoughts, insights and observations about “camp being a great place to start growing up”; his aspiration to help all campers and staff learn “how to be a mensch” and his focus on discovering “an island of competence” in everyone.
