Loyalty – Ne’emanut – נאמנות

Loyalty is the quality of staying firm in your support for someone or something. It means having someone’s back. Loyalty means you have dedication or commitment to a person, idea or cause. An example that many of us are familiar with comes from “Horton Hears a Who” – Horton the Elephant and JoJo. It is often said that a dog is loyal to its human, and is “man’s best friend.” We see loyalty at camp with bunkmates, with trainees in the same unit, and with staff in the same department. Loyalty is a key part of life, and camp.

Camp Louise’s farming partner AMIR is making at-home farming kits available at no cost. Each kit contains 4-6 seed packets, planting instructions, kid-centric activities, garden journals, magnifying glasses and bug identification cards. You can order a kit here.

Coming July 6th, CAMP@HOME with UNICEF Kid Power® will feature 75+ short videos (sports, crafts, cooking, campfire songs and more) that inspire kids to “press play” on-screen, then “go play” off-screen. Click here for more info.
